the new iPod shuffle
So today Apple releases the new iPod Shuffle. At $79 for 4gb (upgrade ya), it sits pretty attractively small. It’s also smaller than my pinky finger, available n silver or black, and looks just like any conventional flash drive just with a headphone port and shiny belt clip. OH, AND IT SPEAKS THE SONG TITLES TO YOU TOO!!
I wonder how creepy the robot voice is, maybe they used the same voice as Tom on the new Kindle 2.. we’ll see. Pretty fun stuff if you ask me. As well as it takes advantage of having controls inline on the headphones, eliminating the need for a touchwheel that was useless on all the old shuffles. Apple’s been doing some crazy stuff recently, crazy good stuff. This just proves that Apple is still on the frontier of all music media devices…
