James Jebbia = unknown streetwear God

Everyone that wears streetwear knows of Supreme. They know about the hotness that Supreme drops every F/W or S/S. They know that the coveted 5 panel hats with the notorious Supreme box logo on them are the shiz when it comes to headwear. But little do people know the person who created the brand originally was.

An interview by Glenn O’Brien from Interview Magazine outlines this fashion demigod’s history and busts common knowledge out the door when it comes to what YOU really know. The independent mentality of the brand transcends the common knowledge of skate/street wear. Unlike most streetwear brands who are just about hitting the end of the growth industry life cycle, Supreme is one of those front runners going through to their maturity phase. And trust me their decline is not even anywhere close. With the likes of Stussy, The Hundreds, Huf, Crooks and Castles, etc, Supreme almost undoubtably stands out among the people who don their clothing. Supreme’s quality and unmistakably simple yet rebelliouis designs put their clothing on a level that is second to none.

Check the Interview out and comment (now that I have this new feature on my Tumblr). Cause you probably don’t know wassup, and if you did, my Supreme hat goes off to you.
